Watch: 'What did you call me?' Mike Tyson ALMOST channeled terrifying, older self after reporter’s triggering question

Things got real at the pre-fight press conference after Mike Tyson showed his scary self ahead of his heavyweight clash with Jake Paul . Despite being in his 50s, Tyson has not lost his knack at all. The legendary boxer still has the same competitive mindset and recently the media got to have a taste of it.

During the press conference, journalists frequently reminded Mike Tyson about his age and raised questions about being a ‘gimmick’ fight for Jake Paul. After hearing this, the veteran lost it and went all prime Tyson mode on the reporters.

Well I don't see too many people critical about it, look at this…..what did you just call me again? What did you call me? Mike Tyson via Press Conference

Tyson, in his prime, was known for his ferociousness. ‘Iron Mike’ became the youngest-ever heavyweight champion, a record he holds to this date. In the 80s and 90s, there were many instances where ‘Iron Mike’ went off at the reporters. Watching Tyson doing the same again was truly something nostalgic for many fight fans.

The event was held in Dallas, Texas, marking the second event of their media tour for the highly awaited fight scheduled in July. Ahead of the fight, Tyson got into shape and trained a lot on his conditioning. Certainly, the legend was not taking this lightly. On the other hand, Paul might underestimate the veteran based on his recent comments.

Jake Paul vows to knockout Mike Tyson in the upcoming boxing match

Jake Paul wanted to fight Mike Tyson for a long time now, and after various back and forth, the fight has been finalized. While many are not a fan of this idea, a lot of fans are excited to see Tyson back in the ring years after his retirement.

Many fans cheered for Tyson during the press conference, and the event was echoed with ‘f*** Jake Paul’ chants. While responding to it, Paul revealed that he was going to knock out Tyson in the fight.

While Paul has knocked out his former opponents like Tyron Woodley , he failed to do so against Nate Diaz and Anderson Silva . However, for the upcoming bout, Paul has gained a lot of weight, which might have increased his knockout power. Nevertheless, all questions will be answered when both fighters step into the ring in July.
