Possible WWE Backlash Spoiler As Former Champion Spotted
Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

The latest WWE Backlash spoiler, if accurate, means a former champion could make their highly anticipated return on Saturday.

We have seen WWE undergoing some dramatic changes with new leadership. In particular, they have turned many of their premium live events, aka pay per views, into shows outside of the United States. They continue to travel to Canada and Mexico a few times of the year and twice a year to to Saudi Arabia. Lately, they been having pay per views from Purta Rico, England, Australia and now France. Saturday will see WWE travel to the LDLC Arena in Lyon-Decines, France, for Backlash.

There are only five matches confirmed, so WWE will likely add something during tonight’s SmackDown or during the actual show. Perhaps, we could see a live segment tossed in to fill the three hours. When it pertains to the female superstars, there are two matches. WWE Women’s  Champion Bayley vs Naomi vs Tiffany Stratton and Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) vs Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill. And, there could be a surprise taking place.

Charlotte Flair Has Been Spotted

PWInsider noted earlier how Charlotte Flair is in France ahead of the pay per view. She even posted a selfie, which used geolocation and noted she was in Paris. There is a possibility WWE did not want her presence known. If she is not involved in the show, her being there is unclear. Charlotte’s husband, Andrade, is not booked and it was not disclosed if he made the overseas trip.

After WrestleMania 39, Charlotte took about four months off. She returned in June and worked until early December as she suffered a torn ACL, MCL and meniscus in her knee. Such an injury keeps someone away for about 9 to 12 months. She has been posting her rehab on social media, showing tremendous strides. Basically, “The Queen” returning inside the ring that fast is questionable, if she does appear. Whenever the return happens, gold will probably shortly follow. So, does the latest WWE Backlash spoiler increase interest in the show?
